In 1857, Antonin Petrof the founder of the company who seemingly laid foundations of factories of the largest producers of acousitc pianos in Europe. He travelled to the wonderful city of Vienna to learn how to build grand pianos at three companies: Heitzman, Ehrbar and Schweighofer. The construction of the first Petrof piano occurred in 1864, which reflected the founding of the company.
