Kate was introduced to music lessons at the tender age of 4. An excellent student in Junior Music Course, she aced the auditions with the fundamental music abilities acquired and advanced to the Junior Special Advanced Course (JSAC) in Yamaha Music School Singapore.

And in 2015, she won the 3rd prize in the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano competition (Bronze medal).
